Recently I've noticed a few whiskers from my ragdoll cat (1 year old). Is this normal and does it mean anything, or is it part of losing their summer coat. Please reply.
When a cat's whiskers start falling out excessively, this indicates there's an underlying medical problem and/or skin problem. If you find a whisker on the floor, hdo cats whiskers fall outere and there, this is normal, as whiskers do fall out and new ones regenerate.
If your cat's whiskers are falling out by the bunch and her whisker pads really look bare, definitely have her checked out by your vet ASAP to find the cause and have it treated. I hope she'll be fine!
Good luck!
It is normal for whiskers to faldo cats whiskers fall outl out.
They grow to a certain length then after a while fall out while a new whisker grows to take its place.
This is very normal, I find my cats whiskers laying around all over the place. I wouldn't about it unless they start falling out excessively. (:
normal. its just losing their summer coat
